  • Andrea Paradise

    DVM

Dr. Paradise received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University in 2005. She then moved to the Bay Area in California for two years before relocating to Virginia. Joining the VCA family in January 2008 has allowed Dr. Paradise to pursue her goal of becoming a true advocate for her patients and their owners. She has been with VCA Annandale since September 2009. Her veterinary interests include a strong interest in feline medicine and geriatric medicine and pursuing hospice care. Dr. Paradise and her husband share their home with their two cats (Nermal - a "saucy brat" and Bella - a "fatty") and their two children Reese and Tate. During her free time she enjoys playing with her children, documentary television, reading, baking and trying to get some sleep. I became a veterinary because I have always want to help people and the animals that they love. I love witnessing the bond that our clients have with their pets. I also love how the veterinary field is always changing and there are new developments in medicine. Another wonderful benefit to working at VCA Annandale animal hospital is the great team. We work hard and have fun at the same time, Each day is always different, just when you think you have see it all there is something to surprise you.

  • Eume Jung

    DVM

Dr. Jung graduated from Ross University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. A local of Fairfax, Virginia, she joined our team of veterinarians in July of 2011. Her favorite thing about being a veterinarian is that she enjoys that no one case or patient is the same, everyday is unpredictable and there is something new to learn each day. Dr. Jung has special interest in zoonotic diseases, preventative medicine, surgery, infectious diseases and dermatology. When she is not working Dr. Jung enjoys spending quality time with her husband, her dog Beetlejuice and her turtle. Some other interests are watching movies, reading, running and breakfast foods. She hopes to continue to travel as well. "Every kid at one point in time, has thought about, or maybe even dreamed of working with animals when they grow up. I was lucky enough to live out my own childhood dream, the day I became a Veterinarian. As a Veterinarian, every day is new, unpredictable and challenging. I enjoy helping and treating animals, being an advocate/voice for pets, and helping the human on the other end of the leash provide the best care for their furry loved ones. I hope to treat all the patients we see here as my own, as our dogs and cats (and turtles) are extensions of ourselves and our families" - Dr. Eume Jung.

  • Nancy Sitarz-Spalding

    DVM

Dr. Sitarz has been with VCA Annandale many years on Saturday's and the occasional weekday here and there. She is a dedicated Veterinarian on some of our local military bases working with both large and small animals. She loves the clients of VCA Annandale and Team Annandale just owuldn't be teh same without her.

  • Yong Chang

    DVM

Dr. Chang joined the VCA Annandale team in the Spring of 2013 from Atlanta, Georgia. He was educated as a Veterinarian at the Kangwon National University in Chunchun, South Korea and is accredited by the Educational Commission for Foreign Veterinary Graduates, licensed in South Korea, Pensylvania and now Virginia. The love of my pets is what brought me to Veterinary Medicine. My lovely dogs; MD, BaDoongE and my cat Monariza led me to become a Veterinarian. Though the time with them was far too limited, that are still on my mind and in my heart. Working at VCA Annandale Animal Hospital is great because I have the opportunity to meet a new group of pets and clients everyday. Though I sometimes face difficult cases, it brings me great joy when the pet begins to heal and feel better. That's what makes my heart beat alive. I am now living with my cat Samdol and my wife. My cat understands commands like sit, stand up, high five and Food (Bob). It was my wife who trained him as a dog because she has only known dogs in her life. She loves cats now too. I am very happy to be a part of VCA Annandale Animal Hospital as an Associate Veterinarian. I look forward to meeting all of out clients and pets in the near future.
